I absolutely love the flair that fake lashes give my eyes, but I don't always want to spend time applying them. I figured I would look for a mascara that was supposed to give as much volume and and length as possible. If I was going to be spending more money than usual I wanted the best of the best.
That's when paranoia set in. There are so many mascara's that claim to maximize volume and length and so many people with varying opinions about each one. I would like one girl's mascara and find out the brand. Then I would watch a few more reviews and someone would inevitably complain about how clumpy the formula is or that it is so heavy it would take the curl right out of your lashes. So then I would look into their 'miracle' mascara only to repeat the cycle. Eventually I gave up and didn't buy any mascara at all.
Well, the other day I decided to put make-up on and realized once again that I needed new mascara. This time I didn't watch reviews. I just decided to go get Benefit's They're Real! If I didn't like it, I would try a different brand next time.
I went in to Sephora and just as I was about to buy the $23 dollar tube a representative stopped me and pointed out that Benefit was having a limited addition combo pack. I was able to get the normal tube and the travel size for the same price. That's a whole half a bottle extra. Of course I did that instead.
After using Benefit's They're Real! I have been very happy with it. My lashes are definitely more full and long than with any of the drug store mascaras I have used. Do I know if They're Real! is the best of the best? No, since it's the first non-drugstore mascara I've used I can't speak for that, but I do know that I've really enjoyed it. You can make the final judgement for yourself based on the picture I've posted. My lashes are not curled and I am not using any other makeup.
If you've been wanting to try Benefit's They're Real! or it is your go-to brand already, you might want to check it out before the limited edition packages are gone.
