The Week In Review

Share it Please
On Wednesday I visited the blog Shutter Bean for the first time and Tracy's segment, My Everyday Life, caught my eye. In this weekly post Tracy shows pictures of her week. This is something I think can be very intimate, opening up glimpses of her personal life to an audience of people she has never met, and it is beautiful in that intimacy.

I would really like to push myself to take photos more frequently, especially now that I have my new camera, and this seems like a really great way to force myself in to taking them. Tracy is a wonderful photographer and I know my pictures will be no where near as high of quality as hers, but hopefully it will be a fun way for you to get to know me better, for me to improve in my photography skills, and a way to look back and see where I've been over the last year. Because I didn't have this idea until Wednesday I don't have many pictures for this week. For the future I plan to have more pictures and to post them every Saturday as "The Week In Review." I hope you enjoy these! Feel free to sound off in the comments below!

We ate lots of Caesar salads with various meats this week. It was the dinner theme.

Phase 10 has been the game of the week! Easy to learn and easy to play.

We probably drank our weight in tea. Plus we ate lots of biscochitos, New Mexico's state cookie (no seriously, look it up).

There was also a lot of hanging out in PJ's, enjoying the holidays, and falling asleep at random times. Goodnight!

  1. I am a big fan of Tracy's Everyday Life Series. I love seeing the everyday snapshots of bloggers lives - the ones not so "styled & perfect". I think it helps us get to know each other better and makes us more relatable. I'm really looking forward to your Week In Review! ♥
