With the introduction of spring comes light, airy scarves. They are often colorful with patterns or sparkles, soft, and primarily a fashion piece. When warmth is no longer the reason for wearing a scarf, we gain so much freedom in how we can wear it! Below I share nine different ways that I wear my spring scarves. I like finding a scarf with just enough pizazz that I can wear minimal jewelry. The one I chose is not only soft, but it has splashes of silver sparkle that glint in the sunlight, just enough to attract attention without feeling over done. Enjoy!

Style One I simply tied a knot about three to four inches above each end of the scarf and then threw one end over my shoulder. Style Two I folded the scarf in half, hot dog style, draped it around my neck and tied a messy bow. Be sure to fluff the bow! Style Three is simply pulled over my shoulders like a shawl.

Style Four I have knotted the scarf about three to four inches above each end of the scarf and left it draped over my shoulders. Style Five I created an infinity scarf by tying the two ends together and then folding it in a figure-eight pattern around my neck, just like you would do with a normal infinity scarf. Style Six was created by draping the scarf around my neck, laying it flat across my body, belting, and then adjusting the scarf to the exact shape I wanted.

Style Seven I simply laid the scarf over my hair (which is in a low ponytail) and pulled both ends across each other in front of my neck, then I fluffed it a little. Style Eight begin by folding the scarf in half, hamburger style, twice until you have a nice small rectangle. When you do this make you have the un-patterned side of the scarf inside the fold so that the pattern shows on the outside. Decide how thick you want the 'headband' and fold the scarf, hot dog style, to the appropriate width. Put the scarf underneath your hair and pull both ends up so they are on top of your head. Begin like you are tying a bow or a knot, crossing one of the end over and under before tightening. Then, instead of tying a knot tuck the ends underneath the main scarf. Style Nine fold the scarf in half, hot dog style, twice. Lay the center of the scarf over the top of your head and tie a knot underneath your hair at the back of your head.
I absolutely love style number 2! All about bows here :)
