Day Two: Aquarium, Bio-Park, And Zoo

Share it Please
While my parents are here I've been showing them some of my favorite places around the city. In Albuquerque we have a joint Aquarium, Bio-Park, and Zoo. We spent all day Monday out in the sunshine wandering the parks.

The Bio-Park is very pretty and some of the flowered trees are in bloom now. The bees were already busy!

There was a mini village with a mini train running through one of the gardens. It was so picturesque it made you wish it was real!

At one point I even caught a picture of a roadrunner in the gardens. Roadrunners are extremely fast and it can be very hard to catch a good picture. This guy stood still for just long enough to get a picture.

At the zoo we even got to see a baby monkey! He is just three months old. Unfortunately his mother kept moving around which made it very difficult to get a good view.

We tired ourselves out with lots of walking. Thankfully there were some picturesque places to take a break or two. We had lot of fun! For tomorrow's post I'll be telling you all about Santa Fe.
