Spring weather is officially here; warm days and cool nights will soon be followed up by hot days and warm nights. Spring and summer bring two great things with them: great food and swimming. I've found some awesome warm weather recipes from around the web that are perfect for evenings on the porch. Starting with a classic, corn on the cob can't be beat as a BBQ favorite and this corn on the cob by Linda at Call Me Cupcake adds a spicy twist with garlic and chili powder. Follow up your corn with a light, cool meal of Chilled Heirloom Tomato Soup by Aran at Cannelle Et Vannille. Finally refresh yourself with this combination of booze and dessert by Naomi Robinson at Bakers Royale, Grapefruit and Strawberry Greyhound Popsicle.

Outside of food, lazy days at the pool with a daiquiri and a good book are what I live for once the weather is right. We are on the cusp of summer and soon you will need that perfect swim suit, when you do, ModCloth has you covered with the Dive Into Summer Sale! Get 20% off select swimwear, cover ups, summer dresses, and sandals. If you're ready for sun RIGHT NOW, then you can get free express shipping on orders of $125 or more -- just use code EXPRESS at checkout. Shop while it's hot, because this deal won't last forever!

I personally love the swimsuit selection at Modcloth and currently have my eye on the Anchors Aweigh Swimsuit and Greyscale The Seas Swimsuit.

  3. Ahhh I love summer! My grandparents have a great pool, and even though they live 45 minutes away, I try to go as much as I can in the summer. It's just so wonderful!

    1. I do too! I'm super jealous that you know someone near you with a pool. That sounds amazing! I think I'm going to rent out a cabanna at the hotel bar & pool a couple times this summer. :)
