Literary Libations: Summertime Cobbler
This weekend was a lazy weekend, by which I mean I had a lot more play than work. Ok, I didn't really do any work at all. This being said, it probably won't surprise you that I didn't actually try any new drinks. Instead I thought I would introduce you Booze Nerds. They have some awesome drinks made with the best ingredients. For the warm summer days their Summertime Cobbler drink looks incredible. You should definitely swing on by and check them out.
I have been delving further into Life Of Pi, he's currently floating out on the water, his little life boat stuffed with wild animals. Since the book plays off of the idea of a fictional author interviewing Pi as an adult I feel that I am getting to know a well rounded character. The young dreamer and the adult family man. I haven't gotten quite as far as I normally would have by now, but it isn't because I'm not enjoying the book, it is due to the fact that I have my own writing ventures that I am working on and I am trying to split my time.
If you've read Life Of Pi, let me know what you think!

it seems like everyone gets a little less reading done in the summer - just too much to be doing :) and that summertime drink looks ah-may-zing!
ReplyDeleteI saw the movie The Life of Pi, but never read the book. A play-filled weekend is a good one!
